Since its founding in 1998, WORKS has provided families with the tools and support they need for social, educational, and economic advancement. Our array of culturally relevant programs and services assists hundreds of area residents of all ages--from school-age youth and adults to senior citizens.
WORKS’ enriched services are offered as a resource to families and individuals in a nurturing and supportive environment. We also provide a variety of children's programs designed to bolster educational achievement and encourage a love of learning.
Our Community Centers serve hundreds of at-risk children and parents in a non-judgmental and supportive environment. Everyone is encouraged to take an active role in shaping the services offered at the Community Centers to fit their particular community’s needs. This not only empowers families but fosters neighborhood ownership and an opportunity to affect positive change.
